The rules of the road for using Guessr.
These Terms govern your use of the Guessr mobile application and the guessr.app website (together, the "Service"), operated by Guessr ("we," "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Guessr. To use the Adults age mode, you must be at least 18. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
Guessr offers a Free tier (3 AI decks/day) and an optional Pro subscription: Pro Monthly ($3.99/mo), Pro Annual ($19.99/yr), or Pro Lifetime ($49.99 one-time). Subscriptions and purchases are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your device.
Pro Monthly and Pro Annual are auto-renewing subscriptions that renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle at the price shown at purchase, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Pro Lifetime is a one-time purchase that never expires and does not renew.
We do not currently offer a free trial for Pro. You can cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation stops future renewals but takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we do not offer pro-rata refunds for partial periods.
You can view, manage, or cancel your subscription from your device's account settings: on iOS, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions or visit apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions; on Android, open the Google Play Store app → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions or visit play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
Guessr also offers Guessr Tokens — consumable digital items purchased in-app (available in packs of 10, 30, or 75 Tokens) and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your device. Tokens are used to unlock eligible AI-generated decks once your free daily allowance is used, according to the app's current rules for when a Token is required.
Token packs are one-time consumable purchases, not a subscription, and do not grant Pro. Once spent, a Token is consumed and cannot be restored, refunded through the app, or transferred between devices or accounts; any refund request is handled directly by Apple or Google under their own refund policies.
Your Guessr Tokens balance is tracked on our servers against your device/account, not stored only on your device. Restore Purchases (available in Settings) restores eligible previous Pro purchases — it does not, and cannot, re-create or refund previously spent Token packs.
On the Free tier you can generate up to 3 decks per day and save up to 10 decks. These limits are subject to change with notice. Pro removes them.

We use automated and manual moderation to enforce these rules. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your access.
Deck contents are generated by large language models based on the prompt you provide. AI output can be wrong, surprising, or in poor taste. You are responsible for the prompt you submit; we are not liable for individual generated lines.
If a generated card is offensive or harmful, please report it from inside the app (tap the card, then Report) so we can improve our filters.
Guessr — including the app, the brand, the website, and all original content — is owned by us. You retain ownership of the prompts you write. We grant you a non-exclusive, personal, revocable license to use the decks generated from your prompts for personal, non-commercial purposes.
When you share a deck publicly (planned for a future release), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and distribute that deck through the Service. You can delete a shared deck at any time, which revokes this license going forward.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. You can stop using the Service at any time by deleting the app — your data will be deleted automatically within 30 days.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that the Service will always be available, error-free, or that AI output will meet any particular standard.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Spain.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that constitutes acceptance.
