The rules of the road for using Guessr.
These Terms govern your use of the Guessr mobile application and the guessr.app website (together, the "Service"), operated by Guessr ("we," "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Guessr. To use the Adults age mode, you must be at least 18. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
Guessr is offered as a free tier with optional Pro subscription. Pro is billed monthly ($4.99/mo) or annually ($24.99/yr) through the Apple App Store. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time from your Apple ID Subscriptions settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not offer pro-rata refunds for partial periods.
On the Free tier you can generate up to 3 decks per day, save up to 10 decks, and you will see short ad breaks between rounds. These limits are subject to change with notice. Pro removes all limits and ads.

We use automated and manual moderation to enforce these rules. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your access.
Deck contents are generated by large language models based on the prompt you provide. AI output can be wrong, surprising, or in poor taste. You are responsible for the prompt you submit; we are not liable for individual generated lines.
If a generated card is offensive or harmful, please report it from inside the app (tap the card, then Report) so we can improve our filters.
Guessr — including the app, the brand, the website, and all original content — is owned by us. You retain ownership of the prompts you write. We grant you a non-exclusive, personal, revocable license to use the decks generated from your prompts for personal, non-commercial purposes.
When you share a deck publicly (planned for a future release), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and distribute that deck through the Service. You can delete a shared deck at any time, which revokes this license going forward.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. You can stop using the Service at any time by deleting the app — your data will be deleted automatically within 30 days.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that the Service will always be available, error-free, or that AI output will meet any particular standard.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to be confirmed by legal counsel]. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that constitutes acceptance.
